The torch of the Turkish Education Association was lit by Atatürk, our Great Leader and the first President of the Turkish Republic, and it has been blazing since 1928. We have always felt privileged because our founding members were also the founders of the Turkish Republic, including the Prime Minister of the period. We have been working to successfully manage this very challenging responsibility and to attain more successful results compared to previous years.
As a civil society initiative committed to this vision, the Turkish Education Association has always distinguished itself with the scholarships it has offered, with the educational quality of the schools it has established, and with the scientific projects and activities it has undertaken. We derive our power and success from our faith in democracy and the social responsibility awareness that we have stimulated.
The torch that we lit as the Turkish Education Association in an effort to portion a bright future to our pupils, has been still lighting for 80 years thanks to sincere contributions and efforts of the friends of education. Today, we rightfully take pride in what we have achieved for the last 80 years. We commit to improve efforts of our pupils, which are the guarantee of our future, every day with the aim to enable them to reach to a brighter future.
